I haven’t been a hunter for very long but have heard stories from people about having to drive to check-in location and check their deer every hunting season. Long lines, sometimes a lengthy drive from the hunting location, and most say just a big waste of time.
Now they have the telecheck system and you can check your deer online. That’s all neat and what’s better is it can tie into a system to keep track of how many deer have been harvested per county. The Department of Conservation in Missouri has this setup so you can view each county and compare how many deer have been harvested and compare antlered bucks vs doe all on an interactive map that is updated 4 times an hour.
