Heat Seal
If you’re looking for a way to create apparel that goes beyond the typical screen printing or are looking to just produce a couple of pieces, consider using heat sealing to design your apparel. The Kansas City apparel design experts at Century Marketing can create sensational one-of-a-kind custom apparel and other products using a heat seal process.
Heat sealing, also known as heat transfer, is a method of custom apparel decoration that uses high heat to bond the decoration to the product. Heat sealing can use ink transfers, embroidered patches or appliqués, die cut lettering, rhinestones or heat transfer vinyl.
Because heat sealing bonds the design to the apparel, it is durable and long-lasting. Some materials, such as rhinestones and heat transfer vinyl, add dimension to custom apparel that can’t be achieved with other apparel decorating methods. In the case of embroidered patches or appliqués, the heat seal process offers the advantage of looking like embroidery without actually penetrating the fabric or leaving an irritating texture on the inside of the garment. For even more flexibility in designing your custom apparel, you can mix heat seal materials.
Heal sealing offers the ability to print on a variety of fabrics and items, including cotton and cotton blends, synthetics, denim, and more. It is clean and environmentally safe. There are no messy inks or ink by-products.
The heat seal process works best for custom apparel with one or two colors and for small runs of apparel. Century Marketing will save your designs so you can order just a few pieces now and still be able to order additional items down the road without having to start all over in the design process. You can submit your own design or the expert apparel designers at Century Marketing will be happy to work with you to create the perfect design for your custom apparel.
